Missionaries

The Karwurs are Fellowship International missionaries working in Manado, Indonesia where Edwin is President of the Indonesian Theological Seminary (STTI). He teaches courses in New Testament Studies, Leadership, Ethics, Apologetics, and Conflict Resolution at the school. As well, he is involved in local churches, mentoring young pastors, training leaders in evangelism and discipleship making, and encouraging unity in the congregations.

Jackie is the Director of Youth Unlimited (Youth for Christ) in the nearby town of Norwich, ON. With the help of volunteers, the Upper Deck youth centre hosts weekly Girls’ Club, Adventurers’ Boys Club, and Student Leadership. The connections made from over 20 years in the community have been a demonstration of Christ’s love for the youth and their families.

Jocelyn is passionate about global missions and is carrying out the call to "make disciples of all nations" right here in Canada which led her to working in International Student ministry with Power to Change, currently at the University of Toronto. The heart behind her outreach is that of 1 Thessalonians 2:8: "Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well." This often looks like practical help, hospitality, building friendships, initiating spiritual conversations and sharing the gospel.

Earl writes culturally relevant Bible College and Seminary curriculum and teaches pastors in Ghana, Togo, Cameroon, Trinidad, India and Romania. Due to health restrictions, Earl and his wife have focussed on publishing student manuals and course teaching books for Seminary libraries as well as developing video classes for training pastors at the graduate level.
